Monk Media provides Short Back & Sidewalks with a brand new look

The team behind boutique creative agency Monk Media have donated over 50 hours of their time to assist Short Back & Sidewalks embark on a brand refresh.

Monk Media started supporting Short Back & Sidewalks in 2015, when they would kindly allow our volunteers to use their design space to hold all of the early meetings.

When we were looking at having our brand refreshed, the Monk Media team put their hands up straight away to help us out.

“I used to work for Red Cross driving the soup kitchen van where I would connect with people experiencing homelessness,” said Monk Media Director Paul Bui.

“Now that I am older and I have a family, I find it harder to go out and volunteer.

“This is a way my profession can help.”

Short Back & Sidewalks has aimed to revolutionise the way people look at volunteering and feel that every person has the skills to give back to the community.

“Even though the Monk Media team aren't able to cut hair, they're still able to use the skills they have in digital design to create a positive frontline impact on people we assist at our weekly services in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne,” said Short Back & Sidewalks founder and CEO Craig Hollywood.

“Collaborating with companies like Monk is testament to what the Short Back & Sidewalks team has achieved so far without huge amounts of funding. It's the true essence of a community working together to help those that need it most.”
