Short Back & Sidewalks (SBSW) has been supported by Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) to deliver a new service at Boorloo Bidee Mia for the next 12 months.

This monthly service will have a positive impact on the lives of over 600 Australians in need.

AGIG has supported SBSW through their Community Partnership Program and is proud to play a part in offering haircuts and positive connections at Boorloo Bidee Mia.

“AGIG is committed to helping those within our community who are vulnerable and supporting local communities to prosper,” said AGIG’s Chief Executive Officer, Craig de Laine.

“We are very pleased to support the work that Short Back & Sidewalks does to create positive connections with those who need it most.

“Organisations like Short Back & Sidewalks play a key role in building a stronger and more inclusive community, and as such, their work is aligned with our company values.”

This new monthly service at Boorloo Bidee Mia brings SBSW one step closer to reaching its goal of giving 15,000 haircuts and positive connections per year by 2025.

“Support from organisations like AGIG, who actively support their community, gives everybody the opportunity to make a positive frontline impact to hundreds of members of the community in need across Australia," said SBSW Founder and CEO Craig Hollywood.

“We are all part of the conversation and we thank the Australian Gas Infrastructure Group for helping us break the stigma attached to members of the community in need.”
